This was announced Saturday in Dundo, northeastern Lunda Norte province, by Endiama-EP CEO, Carlos Sumbula.
Sumbula was speaking on the fringes of a rally chaired by the ruling MPLA party’s presidential candidate, João Lourenço, as part of electoral campaign underway across the country.
Sumbula said that the strategy aims at processing the resources yielded in the country in order to ensure the added value through the creation of jobs for young people and enhancing diamond itself.
He told the press that staff training in the jewelry and diamond polishing sectors with assembling of a factory, is also secured.
The Finance minister, Archer Mangueira, has expressed optimistic that diamond sector revenues would contribute to development of other sectors of the national economy.
As example, he mentioned the sector of energy which, according to him, make more productive and attractive the investments in the eastern region.
